Linear AM-KP Exterior Keypad (ACP00520)

The Model AM-KP keypad is designed for use with Linear's access control systems. The keypad is housed in a rugged cast aluminum enclosure. The die-cast keys have bright, easy-to-read yellow graphics. Each key has a positive tactile click feel when pressed. An internal sounder signals when a key is pressed.

The keypad can be mounted to a pedestal or directly to a wall. A keylock secures the keypad to the mounting backplate.

Linear MGT Gate Safety Edge Transmitter (DNT00068)

The MGT is for adding fully supervised obstacle sensing for motorized gates, doors or barrier arms in any Linear access control system. It mounts directly on the gate, door, or barrier and wires to a standard exterior safety edge sensor (for full featured compatibility, a Miller gate edge sensor with an optional .001 UF capacitor is recommended). If an object is hit during the gate closing, the sensor will present a closed circuit across the connecting wires and the MGT will transmit a message to the access controller to reverse the movement of the gate. Compatible with AM/II, AM-3, AE-1, AE-2, AE-500, AE-1000, AE-2000, and AP-4 commercial telephone entry and access controllers. Also compatible with RE-1 and RE-2 residential telephone entry systems.

Linear FT-1 Radio Frequency Tester (LDR00001)

The FT-1 is a Radio Interference Field Tester for testing the RF environment around 318 MHz. It will decode any Megacode formatted RF data transmission and then give a short "Beep" signal from the loudspeaker. Ambient RF noise or possible interference can be monitored. A steady hissing noise is normally heard. This is the background noise of the radio. Any steady pulsing, low frequency buzzing or even voice traffic indicates an interfering signal that may reduce the maxiumum range of the system. In most cases the effects of these interfering signals can be reduced or eliminated, but the techniques vary due to type of installation and antennas.
