Sentrol's Request-to-Exit PIR, is compatible with all access control systems, and provides superior detection by employing microprocessor based signal processing. This signal processing compares signal duration, polarity and time values for reduced false alarms. A separate relay can monitor the door contact for door position to eliminate excessive amounts of time that the door is unlocked.

It features superior immunity to RFI, vibration, static electricity, temperature changes, and other false alarm sources. The AP950PI is calibrated through the optics to reduce variations in sensitivity from unit to unit.
