The AB-2.2 allows for a single pair of speakers to be driven from either of two amplifiers. Its ease of installation and use make it particularly well suited for situations where a local source, such as stereo receiver, can play through the same set of speakers as the whole-house audio system. The AB-2.2 can also be used to select one of two sets of speakers to be driven from one amplifier.
