BX-100PLUS "BoundaryGard"® Photoelectric Beam Detector
Optex, the world leader in Outdoor Security, introduces a new concept in outdoor perimeter protection. The BX-100PLUS
"BoundaryGard"® is a slim 2"x9" photoelectric detector for the exterior surface of buildings which protects multiple doors
and windows. BX-100PLUS provides more economical and superior protection for roll-up doors and windows than multiple contacts
or audio discriminators. Attempts to break glass or force entry are detected before the attack. Even when windows or roll-up
doors are left open for ventilation, BX-100PLUS stays on guard.

Optex presents a new concept, BoundaryGard, which offers more reliable protection and security options. Especially, this is designed to protect the perimeter of the building that we designate as the B zone.
B zone areas like windows and roll-up doors have been secured only by magnetic contacts or glass break detectors so far. Now, BoundaryGard protects a building's exterior by detecting intruders before entry is attempted and can also provide a deterrent with a sounder before the break-in occurs.

- FULL TIME (NO/NC) RELAYS
Separate Form A and Form B relays can be used for Security and other functions. Local alarm, annunciation and automation can work simultaneously.
- ATTRACTIVE, SLENDER DESIGN
A smaller design and optional white, paintable cover will allow the unit to harmonize with any type of architecture.
- EASY ALIGNMENT WITH VISUAL AND AUDIBLE INDICATOR
No vertical adjustment is necessary in this detector.
A sounder activates and LED comes on when the sensor is miss-aligned and shuts off when aligned. This will assist you in the alignment process. Also, the Audible Alignment/Alarm Indicator can be used as a deterrent to intruders. This option can be turned on or off with a switch inside the detector.
- LIGHT REDUCTION FILTER
Increases the units resistance to external light sources making it more reliable and also less likely to be defeated by alternative light sources.
- MAX 99 PERCENT BEAM BLOCKAGE
It will increase the units resistance to false alarms caused by environmental disturbance such as fog in the condition the beam alignment status achieves the highest level.
