MX-40PI Passive Infrared & Microwave Combination Detector
Optex provides unprecedented reliability in detection by integrating state of the art microwave and PIR technologies. The MX-40PI combination detector incorporates a patented "quad zone logic" which requires detection across multiple zones before an alarm is triggered. As a result of this technology, the MX-40PI is able to guarantee false alarm protection from 100 pound pets/animals and immunity from other smaller disturbances such as heating vents and movement from curtains. Its spherical lens design ensures sharp, precise detection zones without distortion for increased reliability. The MX-40PI introduces a built in "anti-crosstalk system," preventing interference from matching microwave frequencies in a single area. It also features a microwave range selector and easy wiring knockouts for easy installation.
