Remote temperature probe for ThermStat-1 series programmable controller. Each probes have a
built-in address -- 1, 2 or 3. Do not use more than with the same address.
The ThermStat-1 is a programmable temperature and security monitoring device capable of
monitoring its location plus three separate locations for temperatures or combination of temp and
two alarm inputs. The unit will automatically detect the number and address of all temperature
probes attached to the unit. A standard temperature probe is recommended for use in the average
temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius (32º F) to 48 degrees Celsius (120º F). A high temperature
probe is available for use in extreme temperature environments, -20 degrees Celsius (-4º F) to 85
degrees Celsius (185º F). The unit is available with one to four C form relay outputs designated
Y,W,B and G. All relays are by default held active during normal operations and released during
alarm conditions, but can be individually user programmed for opposite operation. A high, low
temperature and hysteresis alarm trip points are pre-programmed by the factory but can be changed
at installation. The unit will operate and display in either the Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature
scales. The ThermStat-2 has a memory backup for all program functions and inputs. Therefore if
power is lost, the unit will retain these settings and resume operation a soon as power is
reapplied to the unit.
