Now you can program the SmartPad3, WaterPad or the new URC-2 Programmable Hand-Held Controller with the speed and efficiency of your PC. The Dragon Drop-IR system consists of a Windows® based software program and an IR/PC interface module. With the ease and speed of Windows®, "drag and drop" your favorite brands of components into a virtual SmartPad3, WaterPad or URC-2.

Create single, dual or triple-gang keypads, program in the brand and type of component, and then choose the functions. Create a series of working palettes from your personally created library of IR codes. Position these palettes along side our virtual SmartPad3 and click the functions on to the Pad. Once the virtual keypad is programmed, it can be transferred to the 'real' keypad via the PCIR1 Interface Module. Simple, easy, done!

Create sequences, edit, cut, paste, change code sequencing, insert new code functions & time delays, even tiering, all on the PC. DD4 includes punch through for codes like volume and mute that are used on all banks. Save the custom palettes for future use on other jobs, print a report showing the layout and store a copy on disk in the client's file for future reference.

Want to test the action of the button you just created? Want to know if the sequence works? With the simple click of a mouse, the virtual button will send out the codes you just programmed into the PCIR1 interface and out to the external component. Satisfied with the action of the button's functions? Now place the symbols on top of the button. The symbol can either be text or an icon. Sit back and observe the placement of all these buttons and functions. Change locations or functions with the click of a mouse. Satisfied? Transfer this program to the real LM, PM, WPK or URC-2 module. Done. Print a report showing the layout and all button functions for future reference to attach to a specific job project.
