Duet Dynamic Dual-Technology Detector
The Duet is a professional-grade dual-technology digital detector, designed to prevent false alarms in harsh environments such as commercial and light industrial areas. Duet combines in a single unit two complementary advanced technologies – a highly sensitive passive infrared (PIR) sensor and an active Microwave sensor – achieving unprecedented detection, stability and immunity to false alarms.
The dual-element PIR detector includes a user-selectable 1 or 2-pulse counter, as well as advanced temperature-compensation circuitry for unsurpassed false alarm immunity. It also provides creep-zone detection for enhanced reliability and catch performance.
Duet implements a new generation of patented technologies, including advanced microwave DRO front-end utilizing Digital Signal Processing (DSP), dynamic software filtering of fluorescent interferences and more. The result is the industry's best detection accuracy, stability, false alarm immunity and ultimate long-term reliability – in an elegant, durable and easily installed professional device.
