This ZTM230 Wall Mounted Transmitter can be installed like a wall switch, however it does not directly connect to a load. Instead, it controls other Z-Wave devices (or nodes) that operate the ON/OFF or DIM/BRIGHT of lighting or other electrical loads. The ZTM230 Wall Mounted Transmitter is identified to the network using a Controller. The ZTM230 has no load control capability, but instead control associated Z-Wave devices. Subsequent configuring of the ZTM230 Wall Mounted Transmitter using the Controller allows it to operate the ON/OFF and DIM/BRIGHT of associated groups of receivers by using multiple taps on the Transmitter switch. Up to 3 groups of (up to) 5 receivers per group can be controlled. Groups programmed on the ZTM230 can only be controlled from the ZTM230, however any node in any of the groups can be controlled from any other controller or transmitter in the system singly or within another group.
