ACT AF120 120VAC, 15A, 30:1, Plug-In Filter ModuleThe AF120 is a 30:1 passive filter designed to prevent noise in the 120kHz range (created by the load) from interfering with Powerline Carrier transmissions on the powerline. The AF120 is a high-pass and a lowpass filter. Frequencies less than 80kHz and greater than 200kHz are allowed to pass through the circuit relatively unaffected. However, frequencies within 80kHz to 150kHz, are attenuated significantly.
