Nitek EX1120 Long Range Video and Data Transmission System (Complete System)
System Includes
- (1) TT1120 Transmitter
- (1) TR1120 Receivers
(2) Power Supplies
Description
For operation over unshielded twisted pair, CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cables. Transmission Range from 1000 feet (304 m) to 12,000 feet (3.65 Km) monochrome; from 1000 feet (304 m) to 9000 feet (2.74 Km) color. System includes active transmitter unit, active receiver unit and two 24V power supplies.
DIP switches set distances for optimum color or B/W video performance by setting gain, frequency compensation and equalization. The EX1120 provides higher resolution video over the EX560 operating range and is recommended for applications under 6,000 feet where higher performance is required. System also provides high noise immunity, ground loop immunity and surge protection. The EX1120 is also recommended for Repeater applications where transmission distances in excess of 12,000 feet are required and a Repeater system can be installed in between.
The EX1120 is a complete Twisted Pair Video system made up of a TR1120 receiver unit and a TT1120 transmitter unit. The system is designed to operation over category 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 twisted pair cable. It works well over existing communication, computer network spare pairs, or new cable installations. A highly balanced transmitter output assures that the system will not interfere with other network equipment. Advanced receiver and transmitter electronics provide optimum video quality and complete immunity from ground loop, hum and noise. Both the transmitter and receiver provide adjustment for gain and frequency compensation allowing the system to be "finetuned" for the cable. These unique adjustments provide optimum performance over the entire operating range of the system and allow cable lengths to be estimated with a wide safety margin. The receiver and transmitter units each require 24VAC power. In multiple receiver and/or transmitter applications a common supply can be used for the system.
