Founded by James Chen, the company operated under the name of Alarm Technology Worldwide and became ATW Security in 1999.The company is based out of Woburn, Massachusetts.ATW continues to grow with each new year.

In the past few years,ATW has received recognition for its latest product line,The Watchdog Collection.This line was introduced in 2002 and has made its own niche in the industry.ATW's product line has grown through the years to include unique security products as well as industry standards.
