The MYW-BA adaptor is designed for applications where a video door station is required, but is beyond the standard distance limitation of 330’. The MYW-BA can be used with the MY or MK video door stations. Aiphone specified cable (#851602) is required.

The MYW-BA extends the maximum distance of an MY or MK door station to 980 feet. When using a modular audio/video system, an audio intercom (LEF, IE, or TD-H/B) is required with the video for a complete system. The type of intercom depends on the user’s needs and the total distance specifications.

The unit is constructed of double-layer cold rolled brushed stainless steel, folded and welded. Openings at the bottom of the unit are to allow drainage of moisture when used in outdoor applications. Openings are provided in the back of the unit for mounting and wiring. Three conduit knockouts are provided at the bottom of the unit.
