AC Power Modules and J-Box Kits are available in versions with or without surge protection for increased security. The hospital-grade surge-protected units provide multi-stage protection from power surges and EMI/RFI filtering that meets UL 1449 standards. In extremely excessive surge conditions an alarm will sound to warn the user that power is now unprotected.

Leviton 47605-PSB Universal Mini DC Power Supply

Leviton’s Universal Mini DC Power Supply supports between 90V and 264V of AC power, making it compatible with both North American and international electrical systems. Designed to fit into the knock-outs on the bottom of Leviton’s Series 140, 280 or 420 Structured Media™ enclosures, this surge protected power source provides up to three 12V DC devices with 10 watts of power, enabling distribution of audio and video applications throughout the home or office. The unit offers Short Circuit Overload Protection to safeguard connected equipment in a fault situation, and surge protection to divert power spikes away from electronic equipment. Other features include EMI/RFI filtering, green LED light, and three DC cables to connect modules to the power supply.

Leviton 47605 AC Power Modules and J-Box Kits

Leviton's AC Power Modules and J-Box Kits provide power to the distribution modules from within Leviton's Series 140, 280 or 420 Structured Media™ Centers. The AC Power Modules feature two 15 Amp duplex receptacles and the J-Box Kits feature one 15 Amp duplex receptacle. These devices are housed in a Powder-Coated steel enclosure that drops into a cutout in the bottom of the SMC to provide power to the enclosure without using up interior space. The Universal Power Supply is designed to provide a central location for power distribution within Leviton’s Series 280 and 420 Structured Media Enclosures. It can power up to nine 12VDC devices, supporting between 100 and 240V of AC power, to accommodate both North American and International voltages Easy to install, the Universal Power Supply fits into knock-outs located on the bottom of the SMC enclosures.

The DC Power Distribution Module provides high quality electrical power for the separate DC-powered components in the Structured Media Center (SMC). This module reduces clutter and opens-up space in the SMC by eliminating the need for multiple DC transformers. Powered by a single DC power supply, the Power Distribution module provides fully-regulated 12 VDC power for up to 6 devices.
