SYSTEM CAPACITY
  • Max. Zone Capacity: The maximum number of total zones (standard zones + wireless expansion zones + hardwired expansion zones) that can be supported by the panel.
  • Std. Hardwired Zones: The number of hardwired zones that the panels supports before expansion
  • Max. Hardwired Expansion: The maximum number of zones that can be added via a hardwire expansion module 4219, 4229, or polling loop.
  • Max. Wire-ess Expansion: The maximum number of zones that can be added via a wireless receiver (5881ENL, ENM, ENH) or RF keypad (6150RF, 6128RF)
  • Wireless Keys (do not use zones): The maximum number of fully programmed 4-button keys that can be enrolled in the panel without taking away from maximum zone capacity.
  • Partitions: The number of areas that can be controlled separately as if each area had its own control panel.
  • User Codes: The total number of unique codes used to operate the system.
  • Event Log: The number of events (openings, closings, alarms, etc) that the panel records.
  • Max. Expansion of 2-Wire Smokes: The maximum number of 2-wire smokes that can be supported.
  • Max. Number of Schedules: The maximum number of scheduled events that can be programmed into the system (openings, closings, etc)
FALSE ALARM PREVENTION FEATURES
  • Exit Error Logic: Alerts the user and allows for correction in the event an exit door is left open while keeping the remaining protection points armed; a unique report is sent to the central station.
  • Exit Delay Reset: Allows for user re-entry without causing an alarm.
  • Exit Delay Countdown: Allows the user to see the exit delay countdown at the keypad.
  • Cross Zoning: Requires a combination of zones to fault before an alarm sounds.
  • Alarm Verification: Fire: Will double-check an alarm condition before sounding.
  • Swinger Shutdown: The number of times per armed period a panel will call the central station when multiple alarms occur
  • Unvacated Auto-Stay: An option that will cause the panel to arm STAY if the user has armed the panel in AWAY mode, but does not trip an entry/exit zone.
  • Alarm Cancel Verification: A distinct keypad message received after an alarm report has been successfully cancelled.
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
  • Interactive Phone Support: Permits access to and control of the security system from any touch-tone telephone.
  • Real Time Clock: An internal clock used to "stamp" events when they occur. (See Event Log)
  • Temporal Bell: The ability to sound a pulsing fire alarm in compliance with code (three pulses and a pause, repeated).
  • Bell Supervision: The ability to monitor the status of all audible warning devices and report a TROUBLE condition via the keypad and/or central station.
  • Telephone Line Monitor: A message sent to the keypad in the event of a phone line fault. May be used to send a report to the central station via secondary method.
  • On-Board Triggers: Programmable voltage level outputs which can be used to initiate external devices (ie. Radio transmitter, strobe light, etc.).
  • Relays Supported: The number of 4204 or 4229 relays that can be used to activate other equipment and devices.
  • X-10 Devices Supported: The number of X-10 compatible devices that can be controlled via an X-10 transformer (4300).
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
  • Cross Partitioning (goto): The ability to control any partition in a multi-partition system from any keypad
  • "Night" Arming: An additional arming state that allows certain specified interior zones to act as if the panel was armed in AWAY mode.
  • RF Supervision by Transmitter: The panel checks the status and presence of all supervised wireless devices.
  • Common Lobby Logic: Logic that allows a common area to be shared by multiple partitions.
  • Configurable Zone Type: Allows the installer to create a custom zone type and assign all zone attributes.
  • "Battery Saver": during AC Power fail this function will disconnect battery to prevent irreversible system battery failure.
  • Keyswitch Arming: Supports the use of a keyswitch on either partition utilizing a hardwire zone.
  • Access Schedules: Allows users access during predefined time period.
  • Output Device Schedules: Allows output devices (relays/X-10) to activate at pre-defined times.
CONVENIENCE FEATURES
  • Single Button Arming: An option that allows the panel to be armed by depressing a single key on the keypad.
  • Quick Exit: An option that will allow a user to exit the premises without disarming the panel by initiating exit delay while the panel is armed in STAY mode.
  • Keypad Macros: Allows simplified keypad commands to control complex events.
  • Viewable Event Log at Keypad: Allows events stored in the panel to be viewed at the keypad.
  • Time and Date Display: Allows the time and date to be displayed directly on the keypad.
  • Pager Capability: The ability to send reports to pager number(s) in addition to central station phone numbers.
  • Auto Arm/Disarm: Allows the panel to arm or disarm itself via a programmed schedule.
