Securitron Cabinet Locks

Securitron offers state of the art, compact electric locks for control of cabinets and other industrial openings. The MCL-24 is a miniature electromagnetic lock which despite its size, delivers a remarkable holding force of 200 lbs. (90 Kg.). The even smaller SCL-24 is a solenoid bolt lock with a holding force of 600 lbs (275 Kg). Typical applications for these locks include: jewelry cases, museum cases, gun cabinets, pharmaceutical storage cabinets, cash drawers and any sort of door or drawer which will physically accommodate either lock.

The SCL-24 is a fail secure solenoid lock which fits into the most size limited applications (the lock body measures 11/16” x 1-1/8” x 2-5/8” or 27 x 28.5 x 66mm). The lock body mounts on the fixed frame and the keeper mounts on the moving door or drawer. Despite its high degree of miniaturization, the SCL-24 holds and amazing 600 lbs (275 Kg) which provides a strong level of security for cabinet locking applications. In most installations, fastener strength is breached before the lock is defeated.
