Aiphone AP-M Series: High-Power Intercom System

The AP-M system is a high-powered, single talkpath open voice system. Multiple masters can be used, along with a large variety of sub station models to create a communication system tailored to the user's needs. It can be configured in either single or dual master system in combination with remote 8ohm horn speakers and Aiphone's subs, desk or ceiling mount. The master station is available in an expandable 10-station size. For greater capacity, include a 10-, 20- or 40-station add-on selector.

AS - LS Substations & Accessories
Any "AS-" or "LS-" series sub station can be used and any 10 watt 8 or 16 ohm speaker can be used for two-way communication (requires NP-25V). The expanded AP-MS system provides high-powered two-way communication with up to 50 remote locations (One or two masters can be used). Choose from standard substations, horn speakers, vandal proof sub stations, or two call sub stations. Expand a 10-call master with a 10, 20, or 40-call add-on selector (Add-on selectors cannot be connected to standard AP-5M or AP-10M masters). The AP-10AS/C, AP-20AS/C and PA-40AS/C add-on selectors are designed to function with the AP-M/C High Powered System. All standard AP-M system accessories can be used in conjunctions with the add-on selectors.

Paging Adaptors & Amplifiers
The BA-1 and BA-1P paging adaptors allow access to a standard paging system from an intercom master station. The BA-1 is designed for use with Aiphone’s LAF/LDF-C, LEF, LEM and NEM systems. The BA-1P is designed to work with the AP-M and MP-S systems. One or more paging zones can be added to any of the systems mentioned above, and each zone occupies a channel on the master station. Each paging zone requires the appropriate adaptor, a suitable amplifier, and speakers (outgoing paging only -- no talkback is available). The BA-1P Paging Adaptor allows paging to external speakers from the AP-M or MP-S series master stations. For each zone of paging, use a BA-1P with the appropriate sized amplifier.

LE-SS & LE-SSR
The LE-SS and LE-SSR are a vandal proof and weather resistant sub stations designed for use with the Aiphone’s LEM, LEF, LAF-C, LDF, AP-M and MP-S systems. They're constructed with 12-gauge stainless steel, and the LE-SSR features a red mushroom call button. The units either flush mount into a 2-gang box, or surface mount with the SBX-2G. Each unit includes tamper proof screws and a tool for installation. The units are constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel. They can be flush mounted into a standard 2-gang box, or surface mounted into the SBX-2G. Each unit includes tamper proof screws and a tool for installation. The LE-SS has a stainless steel mechanical call button, and the LE-SSR features a red mushroom type button. Communication at the master is push-to-talk or handset, and communication at the sub is hands free.

LS-NVP/B
The LS-NVP/B is a vandal proof and weather resistant sub station designed for use with Aiphone’s LAF-C, LEF, LEM, AP-M and MP-S systems. The LS-NVP/B mounts vertically, either flush into a 3-gang masonry box, or surface mounted with the SBX-NVP. Each unit includes tamper proof screws and tool for installation. The LS-NVP/B is constructed of 11 gauge carbon steel with a white powder-coated. It can be flush mounted using a standard three gang electrical box or surface mounted with the SBX-NVP. The unit includes tamper proof screws and tool for installation. Communication at the master is push-to-talk, release-to-listen, and communication at the door station is hands free. The SBX-2G is a surface mount stainless steel enclosure designed for mounting Aiphone 2-gang sub stations. The enclosure is weather resistant and includes space inside for wiring. The unit mounts to a 1-gang box or ring, or mounts directly to a wall surface.

Designed to protect Aiphone intercom systems from damage due to power surges and lightning strikes. It can be used to protect power inputs to all Aiphone DC power systems, and to protect intercom circuits by dispersing surges n the station wires. Each SA-1 will protect two intercom station wires and discharge up to 180V of current.
