Aiphone GF: Multi-Unit Audio Only Entry System

AIPHONE's GF video system is the simplest video apartment entry intercom system available in the market, allowing easy installation and programming. This concierge station is used in place of a door bell to give you video and communication with all tenants and entrance stations before letting someone in, as well as reply to panic call situations. When a tenant pushes an emergency switch the panic call turns on with the alarm in both the apartment and at the concierge station. All that is needed for a complete installation is 2 pairs of wires throughout the whole building.

The full modular entrance station is made of specially designed, vandal resistant zinc diecast panels, and is weather-resistant while weathering hoods and surface mount boxes are available upon request. The system's apartment stations (GF-1MD audio/video & GF-1D audio only) are compact and slim, designed for surface mount installation and are equipped with door release button and 2 additional service buttons. The GF is flexible, allowing users to mix and match modules to create the exact system configuration and features for their own needs. And with the GF video expansion module, you can connect up to 250 audio/video monitors to the system (the current system is limited to 150 stations). Due to the advanced features and easy installation, the GF system is the ideal communication solution for new and existing multi-apartment applications.

Wiring	2-wire common bus wiring from Entrances to GF-BC 2-wire common bus wiring from GF-BC to GF-1D's Max. 50 stations on a trunk line. Run audio wires in T-tap fashion to minimize wire distance in larger applications. Total wire distance specification is cumulative, adding all physical audio wire in the system. Maintain total distance of under 8,200 feet (1.5 miles). It is not recommended that the audio wire be homerun to an equipment room in larger applications where wire distance specification may be exceeded.
Wire	Use Aiphone wire #872002. 2 conductor, solid copper, Non-shielded, polyethylene insulation, 20 AWG. NOTE: Proper operation or warranty for the system is not guaranteed with any other type of wire.
